The Envy is where Bont's fifty years of speed skate engineering meets the demands of jam and rink speed skating. Built on a one-piece carbon and fibreglass composite base with a microfibre upper, the Envy delivers elite-grade energy transfer in a boot that skates fast straight out of the box and only gets better once heat-moulded to your foot. This complete package pairs the Envy boot with Bont's matched plate, wheels, and bearings for a ready-to-race setup.
The Technology Behind the Boot
The Envy is constructed around a one-piece composite base embedding Bont's proprietary 60°C / 140°F heat-moldable resin — the lowest molding threshold in the entire skate industry. Unlike boots that use generic pre-impregnated carbon, Bont controls the full resin formulation in-house, ensuring the exact balance of stiffness, weight, and heat-mouldability required for quad speed and jam skating.
The low-cut design provides maximum ankle mobility for the dynamic footwork of jam skating, while the memory foam liner — exclusively closed-cell, never open-cell — delivers all-day support without absorbing perspiration.

How to Heat-Mold Your Bont Boots
- Pre-heat your oven to 60°C / 140°F — no higher.
- Remove the footbed and place boots in the oven for 4 minutes.
- Wearing a thin skating sock, insert the footbed and lace firmly (not tightly).
- Sit with feet flat at 90° for 10–12 minutes while the resin sets.
- Allow to cool fully before skating.
