There are carbon skates. And then there is this. The Envy Carbon Cow Skin is Bont's most unapologetically individual limited-edition release — a performance boot wrapped in genuine cowhide, where no two pairs are alike. Each skate bears its own natural pattern; each order is made to order. Allow approximately 4 weeks for production.
The Technology Behind the Boot
The foundation is pure Bont: hand-laid Toray aerospace-grade carbon fiber — the world's most trusted carbon source, used exclusively by Bont since 1989. The inside-out monocoque construction eliminates the weak points of two-piece boots, delivering direct, uninterrupted power transfer from foot to wheel.
The resin system sets the standard: a 60°C / 140°F heat-moldable epoxy, the lowest molding temperature available in any production skate boot. Your foot shapes the carbon precisely — gently, safely, repeatably.

How to Heat-Mold Your Bont Boots
- Pre-heat your oven to 60°C / 140°F — no higher.
- Remove the footbed and place boots in the oven for 4 minutes.
- Wearing a thin skating sock, insert the footbed and lace firmly (not tightly).
- Sit with feet flat at 90° for 10–12 minutes as the resin sets.
- Allow to cool fully before skating.

Sizing
