The Technology Behind the Boot
Bont sources carbon fiber exclusively from Toray of Japan — the world's foremost carbon manufacturer and the same supplier trusted by the aerospace industry. The Envy Carbon boot is hand-laid using an inside-out monocoque construction technique, producing a shell that is simultaneously lighter and stiffer than anything mass-manufactured competitors can achieve.
What truly separates Bont from the field is the resin system. The Envy Carbon uses a 60°C (140°F) heat-moldable epoxy resin — the lowest heat-molding temperature in the entire skate industry. This means you can achieve a precision custom fit at home, without specialist equipment, without risk of burning the boot, and with total confidence that the carbon structure remains fully intact throughout the molding process.

How to Heat-Mold Your Bont Boots
Bont invented heat-moldable skate boots. Follow the official Bont molding process for a custom fit:
- Pre-heat your oven to 60°C / 140°F (no higher — this is all you need).
- Remove the footbed and place the boots in the oven for 4 minutes.
- Put on a thin skating sock, insert the footbed, and lace the boots firmly — not tightly.
- Sit with your feet flat on the floor at a 90° angle for 10–12 minutes while the resin sets.
- Remove the boots and allow to cool completely before skating.

Sizing
⚠️ Bont boots are NOT made to standard UK or EU sizing. They are built on Bont's proprietary anatomical 'Last', derived from laser scans of real feet. Always use the Bont Size Wizard and measure both feet before ordering.
